The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #489 will be at Price Chopper and P&C Fresh where members will be distributing bright red poppies in honor of those who died in the line of duty. The poppy has become an internationally recognized symbol of the lives sacrificed in war and the hope none died in vain.
All proceeds from the donations will go to help veterans.
