Mystery Amazon Box Give Away Announced by the Homer Wrestling Program – Donations Greatly Appreciated

The Homer Wrestling Program has announced a mystery Amazon Box giveaway for this Sunday, January 18th from 10:30 until gone at the Homer High School HTEC. The giveaway will be one box per car and you must be 21 years or older to receive a box. The line for the giveaway will begin along the side of Copeland Ave from Cortland Street in Homer.

Homer Wrestling says as part of their commitment to community service, they have begun a partnership with the Mary Nelson Youth Center in Syracuse. The organization organizes events to distribute thousands of unclaimed or returned Amazon boxes containing mystery items to families in need.

“This initiative not only brings excitement and support to local families, but also reduces waste by repurposing these items, thereby giving them a second life. Through this effort, we are transforming what might otherwise be discarded into a valuable resource, strengthening our community, and demonstrating the lasting impact of simple acts of service.” Homer Wrestling said in a social media post.

Donations of non-perishable foods are also greatly appreciated during the giveaway. Any monetary donations provided will be 100% donated to the Mary Nelson Youth Center.
