A Town of Pitcher man was arrested yesterday (February 27) afternoon after he crashed his SUV into several street signs and vehicles while under the influence of heroin.
Cortland Police say they responded to a call just before 4 p.m. of an erratic driver in a Cadillac Escalade on Prospect Terrace in the City of Cortland. It was reported the driver struck two street signs on Prospect Terrace, then collided with two vehicles on Tompkins Street near the intersection of Main Street.
That’s where Officers found 28-year-old Eric Frink, of Route 26 in Pitcher, passed out behind the wheel with the vehicle still in drive.
Frink later admitted to Police that he was under the influence of heroin.
He was arraigned and scheduled to reappear in Cortland City Court on March 1.
