Motorist Strikes Utility Pole on Route 13 Just Outside City, State Police Say

Cortlandville Fire was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Route 13 north of the City of Cortland line just before 9pm on Sunday, November 30th. Additionally responding to the scene was TLC Ambulance and State Police.

State Police say an investigation found the driver of the vehicle, a Mitsubishi sedan, 52 year old Amy L. Duff of Groton, moved her vehicle from its lane unsafely. As a result, the vehicle struck a utility pole and a mailbox. State Police added Duff reported chest pain following the crash and was evaluated by TLC, but was not transported.
