Motor Vehicle Accident On Route 13 Injures Two

At 1:20pm on Friday, August 23rd, Cortlandville Fire Department, along with TLC-EMS and the New York State Police were called to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 13 and Lime Hollow Road. On arrival, it was determined that a goose-neck trailer had struck a passenger vehicle and overturned. 

Cortlandville Firefighters used rescue struts to stabilize the overturned vehicle while the driver was assisted out. Two passengers were transported to the hospital for treatment and evaluation of minor injuries. 

National Grid assisted in assessing a utility pole that was struck. The New York State Police are handling the investigation. Lime Hollow Road was closed between Stupke Road and Route 13.
