More Worker Training Funding Available

Local News

Tompkins Cortland Community College has obtained another $25,000 in grants from the SUNY Community College Workforce Development Training program.

The money will be used for worker training at two local companies: Borg Warner in Lansing and Forkey Construction and Fabrication in Cortland.

The grants are the second round of awards from SUNY this year: the College secured $60,000 in grants in the first round earlier this year, providing workforce development training to four other organizations in Tompkins and Cortland counties.

The $85,000 total represents the maximum award from SUNY.
