More Events in City of Cortland Receive Special Event Permits by Common Council

Three additional events in the City of Cortland received their special event and related permits within the city to take place this summer. Those three events are the St. Anthony’s Day Festival, Juneteenth Celebration, and the Cortland LGBTQ Center’s Cortland Pride Community Festival.



All votes for the special event and their related permits were approved unanimously by the Common Council and Mayor of Cortland during their meeting last night at City Hall.

  • St. Anthony’s Day Festival will take place on June 10th and 11th at 50 Pomeroy Street, Cortland.
  • Juneteenth Celebration will be held on June 17th from 10am to 4pm at Courthouse Park, Cortland.
  • Cortland LGBTQ Center’s Cortland Pride Community Festival will take place on July 15th from 10am to 2pm at Courthouse Park, Cortland.

All events were reviewed by the City of Cortland Police Department, Fire Department, and City Clerk’s Office. All applicable aspects of the permit application were reviewed and recommended for approval.
