On January 17, a man ran into and knocked over a gas pump at the Kwik Fill on Rt 13 at McLean Road.
The man driving the car that night, identified as Darwin Stickle, 41, was arrested May 3 by Cortland County Police.
According to information provided Thursday by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department, Stickle had been in an argument at his home on Kingsley Avenue.
Police say he sped off, hitting a family member, causing an injured leg.
On his way out of the C&H Trailer Park, he also hit a porch and a parked car before targeting the gas pump across Route 13.
Stickle was charged with DWI right after the crash, and last Thursday, was charged with Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, felony Criminal Mischief and other traffic violations.
According to police, Stickle was arraigned, released, and is to return to Cortlandville Court on Monday.
