More Charges Against Cortland Man by Cortland Police


A Cortland man is facing additional charges by Cortland Police after an investigation by officers found he was involved in a larceny that had taken place at 165 Main Street in the City of Cortland.

Cortland Police charged 36 year old Matthew Barber of Cortland with Petit Larceny after he was identified as the suspect in the larceny. Barber was the same suspect who had broken into a locked maintenance room and stole tools; he was arrested less than 24 hours prior to this larceny. Officers arrested him at the Cortland Library.

Barber was released on the petit larceny charge, he is due in Cortland City Court next month.
