Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart twice on Sunday, July 9th for larceny complaints at the store.
The first call occurred around 5 o’clock where after an investigation by officers found 26 year old Delaney E. Kerr of Homer had stolen merchandise from the store. He was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor and was later released on an appearance ticket.
About an hour later, officers were again called to the store. Through an investigation officers determined 58 year old Walter L. Case of Cortland, stole merchandise from the store. He was also charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor and later released on an appearance ticket.
Both are due back in Cortlandville Town Court later this month.
