Moravia Man Violates Order of Protection – Hits Female Victim

On Friday, February 2nd, both an officer from the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office and a New York State Trooper were dispatched to a residence on McAllister Road in Genoa for a reported physical domestic dispute.

An investigation by officers found 26 year old Cole H. Austin of Moravia, had hit the female victim in the incident, but also violated an Order of Protection in doing so. Austin was arrested by officers that evening and charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1st, a Felony.

He was arraigned via the Centralized Arraignment Process and remanded to Cayuga County Jail on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
