A Moravia man was arrested Monday (October 7) for exchanging forged checks for cash with an unsuspecting victim back in March.
State Police at Homer say 22-year-old Christian A. Reynolds, of Aurora Street, gave a victim checks to deposit in exchange for cash. When the victim tried to deposit them at the bank, they were told the checks were not valid and that they would be ordered to repay the bank.
After months of investigation, troopers arrested Reynolds on Monday afternoon.
He appeared with an attorney for his processing, where he was scheduled to reappear in Cortlandville Court on November 18.
