Molly Reagan to be Honored by Boy Scouts for 23’ Cortland County Distinguished Citizens Award

This April, the Boy Scouts of America, Baden-Powell Council will be honoring Cortland County resident Molly Reagan with their Cortland County Distinguished Citizens Award during their annual fundraising dinner.


Their dinner will take place on April 27th at the Hathaway House located on Route 41 in Solon. Reagan will be recognized by the council, the Boy Scouts of America, and other local business and community leaders for her role in achievements and services to the community.

Molly Reagan is currently an Art Teacher at St. Mary’s School in Cortland, a Crown City Little League baseball coach, 1st and 2nd grand basketball coach, the creator of Porchfest, Aquatics Director at the Cortland Youth Bureau, lead singer in the musician group “Molly & the Ringwalds” and “Skyline Jazz”, and a freelance artist with her Good Neighbor Art studio.

Additionally, Reagan serves on the Board of Directors for the Main Street Music Series, Catholic Charities, and the Cortland County Convention and Visitors Bureau. She is also known for her work on the many murals that are across the City of Cortland, including the Suggett Park basketball courts.

The fundraising dinner raises funds for Scouting programs throughout Cortland County and surrounding communities. The event is open to the public to attend, tickets may be purchased HERE.
