Micro Paving to Begin Thursday on Several City Streets in Cortland
Beginning on Thursday, May 8th, Suit-Kote will begin to micro pave several streets within the City of Cortland. According to Crown City Rising, work will last approximately a week, weather permitting.
Micro paving is a pavement preservation treatment. The process involves applying a thin layer of a specialized mixture to an existing asphalt surface. According to Suit-Kote, this process is a cost-effective and long-lasting remedy for worn or high volume streets/roadways.
Streets to have micro paving are:
- Greenbush Street
- Hollenbeck Street
- Venette Street
- Charles Street
- Madison Street
- Pomeroy Street
- James Street
- Macgregor Street
- Lebanon Drive
- Helen Ave.
- Miller Street
Motorists are asked to find an alternate route for busier streets. Those include Madison, Pomeroy, and Greenbush Streets. Updates may be found at CrownCityRising.com.
