Meth Lab Cleanup, Tobacco Use On City Property, Before Council Tonight

Cortland City Council meets Tuesday night.

First, at 6:50 pm, a public hearing on restricting the parking on the north and south side of Warren St. west of Pearl St.

Also on the agenda, Cortland Police Chief Michael Catalano will explain to Aldermen the state accreditation achievement earned by his department.

The council will also consider a resolution to adopt a local law “Tobacco Use on City Property,” and a local law regarding the clean-up of former Clandestine Labs.

Help for city homeowners could come under a resolution to create the City of Cortland Middle Income Homeowner Assistance program. The program will be launched with $80,000.

City council meets at 7 pm at City Hall.
