The second annual Menstrual Product Drive has been announced by New York Senator Webb’s Office (SD-52). The drive will include locations in Cortland, Tompkins, and Broome Counties. This year’s initiative is collaborating with local organizations such as C4 Cortland Communities of Color, Downtown Ithaca Alliance, and the Binghamton Metro Doulas.

“Too often, lack of access to menstrual products presents barriers to participation in education, work, and everyday activities,” said Senator Webb. “This annual drive provides a crucial opportunity for us to come together as a community and support those who need it most. I am proud to be working with organizations across my district, like Binghamton Metro Doulas, that have been addressing this issue for many years. I encourage our community to come out and support this initiative.”

During the drive, Webb’s Office will look to collect menstrual products from residents within the 52 Senate District. Items may be dropped off through March 29th with products that are collected being distributed through local organizations. For Cortland County, the YWCA of Cortland County will distribute the donated products.

Drop-off locations are:

  • Broome County: Senator Webb’s Binghamton District Office, 44 Hawley Street, Binghamton, NY 13901
  • Cortland County: SUNY Cortland in the Corey Union (4th Floor – near room 401), 22 Graham Ave, Cortland, NY 13045
  • Tompkins County: Senator Webb’s Ithaca District Office, 217 N. Aurora St, Ithaca, NY 14850
