A man from Cortland is the person who was arrested by Syracuse Police late Saturday night near the end of the Taste of Syracuse event.
Bryce Raymond, 21, was arrested at about 10:45.
Police say someone saw the handle of a 9 mm Ruger tucked into his waistband and told police: They saw something and said something, which officers encourage.
Officers say Raymond also had crack cocaine on him.
Raymond does not have a pistol permit.
He was charged with weapon and drug possession.
Another man from Cortland, Nicholas Sherman, who is 31, was arrested by State Police Sunday for DWI.
Troopers say Sherman had just left Chittenango, where he portrayed the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.
He hadn’t taken off the silver makeup when he arrived at a home in the Town of Sullivan and was asked to leave.
Troopers were called.
Police say Sherman’s blood alcohol content was .19, twice the limit.
Sherman is due in Sullivan Court June 20.
