The Cortland Community Foundation was initially founded in 1998 and has been instrumental with financial grants supporting area capital improvement projects and aiding local organizations. They’ve handed out over $5 million year to date on endeavors in the Cortland area alone.
CC Foundation President Tom Gallagher recently joined our own Matt Brooks here at the X101 studio for this edition of Meet Cortland County to talk about various matters like how the Community Foundation started, the accomplishments they’ve had, and their upcoming Philanthropy Day event.
