McGraw Man Turns Himself in, Charged With Grand Larceny After Stealing Two Computers From Walmart in July
State Police say a McGraw man turned himself in to Troopers on Tuesday, September 16th, stemming from a larceny investigation back in July. State Police arrested 21 year old Euguene Richard Briere of McGraw on the charge of Grand Larceny in the 4th, a Felony.
Back on July 17th, State Police responded to Walmart in Cortlandville after Briere walked out of the store with two gaming PCs valued at $899 each. State Police released surveillance footage of Briere walking out of the store days later for public assistance in identifying the suspect.
State Police say with the assistance of tips off a public Facebook post, they investigators were able to identify Briere.
He was processed at the State Police Barracks in Homer and was issued an appearance ticket. He is due in Cortlandville Town Court on the Grand Larceny charge this month. After he was processed by Troopers, he was then turned over to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
