State Police say a McGraw man was the driver of a tractor trailer that rolled over on Interstate 81-North in Oswego County, spilling more than 7k gallons of milk on the highway.
That happened just before 4:00 Sunday afternoon (November 24) at Exit 37 in Sandy Creek.
Investigators determined 38-year old Seth Eaton was taking the exit ramp when he noticed a vehicle parked along the shoulder that caused him to oversteer, lose control and strike a signpost, overturning his trailer.
Eaton was pulled from the trailer by first responders and brough to Upstate Medical Center, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The exit ramp was closed for several hours, as crews worked to clear 7200 gallons of milk from the highway.
State Police were assisted at the scene by NYS DOT, NYS DEC Spill Response, Oswego County HAZMAT, Sandy Creek Fire Department, Pulaski Fire Department, NOCA ambulance, and Oswego County Fire Coordinators.
