McGraw Man Charged With Reckless Driving, DWI & Numerous Infractions After Police Chase Through Towns of Cortlandville & Solon

Around 8 in the evening back on Saturday, April 26th, an officer with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle for vehicle and traffic law violations. However, the vehicle did not pull over for the officer and fled at a high rate of speed.

The Sheriff’s Office says the officer was unable to safely follow the fleeing vehicle and eventually lost sight of the vehicle. However, a short time later, the vehicle was located within the Town of Solon. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 19 year old Jordan P. Davis of McGraw, was taken into custody by officers. He was also found to be driving while intoxicated.

Officers charged Davis with Reckless Driving, Unlawful Fleeing from a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd, Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd, and DWI, all are Misdemeanor charges. Davis also faces 8 traffic and vehicle infractions in addition to the Misdemeanor charges.

He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and later released on an appearance ticket. Davis is due to appear in both the Town of Cortlandville & Solon Town Courts later this month.
