A McGraw man was found in possession of drugs after attempting to flee police in a motor vehicle.
Cortland County sheriff’s deputies were patrolling Route 11 in Cortlandville just before 2 pm on Sunday (October 10).
Officers initiated a stop for equipment violations, identifying the driver as 32-year-old Cody F. Marshall.
As they approached his vehicle, Marshall took off and led them on a high-speed chase.
Eventually, he made an exit from his vehicle and attempted to make a run for it on foot. Marshall was soon caught up to and taken into custody.
He was also found with narcotics in his possession at the time of his arrest.
Marshall was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for processingm, then released on appearance tickets to Cortlandville Town Court on October 27.
