Yesterday (May 17) around 5:50pm McGraw Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire located on Stone Rd in Freetown. Fire departments from Marathon, Cincinnatus, and Cortlandville were also requested to the fire.
Upon arrival firefighters found a fully engulfed trailer fire and a second alarm was requested.
The fire was quickly knocked down by the hard work of the firefighters within an hour upon arrival.
Once the fire was officially out all fire departments requested were returned to service and McGraw returning to service around 2am.
The fire is currently being investigated with the assistance of State Fire. The Red Cross was also requested to assist the family.
No injuries were reported.
