Mayor Sets Date For First Public Downtown Revitalization Meeting

At Cortland City Council Tuesday night, aldermen authorized the Mayor to purchase a half-million dollar Fire Pumper Truck.

Delivery is expected by this time next fall.

A new rescue truck, paid for in large part by grant funding, is expected to be delivered in June.

Cortland Mayor Brian Tobin honors the late Elsie Ferro for her tireless work to improve the city. Accepting the honor is her husband, Sam Ferro.

Mayor Brian Tobin also updated the planning process on the Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

The first public meeting will be November 2 at 7 pm at the Elks Lodge, 9 Groton Avenue in Cortland.
