MAVAC buys land parcel to build new ambulance station

The Marathon Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps (MAVAC) recently bought property at 15 Broome Street in the Village to build a new ambulance station.

Officials say the site will have adequate sleeping quarters for overnight medics. It will also contain additional space needed to house the rapidly growing EMS service.

MAVAC is a 501(c)(3) organization that relies partly no charitable donations from the public.

Officials kindly ask the community to consider making a gift to their building fund.
