Around 2am on Saturday morning, a traffic stop was conducted by an officer from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office on MacGregor Street in the City of Cortland for multiple traffic infractions.
As the officer spoke with the driver of the vehicle, 36 year old Lorinda R. Willette of Marathon, the officer determined that Willette was driving drunk.
She was charged with DWI, Driving with .08 of 1% or more of alcohol, both Misdemeanors, Speed in zone, and no seat belt, both traffic infractions. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and later released on appearance tickets.
Willette is due back in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
