Marathon School Board Reminds Residents of Two School Board Openings

Two seats on the Marathon Central School Board of Education need to be filled, and petitions are still being accepted. Those who are elected will serve a 3 year term beginning on July 1st of this year and end June 30, 2028.

Candidates must be qualified to vote in school elections within the Marathon School District, and must have been a resident of the district for at least one year prior to the election date, May 20th. Petitions, which can be picked up from the District office must be submitted with 25 signatures from qualified school district voters by 5pm on April 21st.
