Marathon & McGraw School Board’s and Homer Town Board Meetings Tonight

The Marathon School Board holds a public Budget Forum tonight, promising a review of educational highlights, how taxpayer and grant money is used, and listening for feedback on what residents feel are important parts of the proposed budget. 6:30 at the high school library or by Zoom.



The McGraw Board of Education also meets tonight, 6:30 in the high school library. The board will consider options to use state Foundation Aid, which is up more than ten percent. The board is expected to accept a grant of $10,000 to support agricultural education.


The Homer Town Board’s monthly meeting is tonight at 6:30. Members will hear the latest on the Wall and Pine Street bridges, plans for large solar installations, and the possibility of the Village using the Town Hall basement for Seniors, and even the Police Department.
