Marathon man allegedly tries to defy restraining order, ends with him in handcuffs

Michael Natalie, age 39, of Marathon was arrested on Monday (January 17) by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department for three felonies and a misdemeanor. 




Natalie had been involved in an incident on January 10 which resulted in a restraining order filed against him. On Monday, Natalie was found at the residence, Ridge Road in Cortlandville, where the restraining order was in effect against him.

He is facing charges that include aggravated family offense (felony), criminal contempt in the 1st degree (felony), criminal contempt in the 2nd degree (misdemeanor), aggravated criminal contempt (felony), and harassment in the 2nd degree violation.

He was arraigned through the Cortland County Centralized Arraignment Process and  released on his own recognizance. He will appear in the Town of Cortlandville Court at a later date.
