Marathon Man Arrested After Sheriff Say He Was Acting Disruptive When in County Office Building


On Friday afternoon around 3pm, officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office who work as security at the entry point for the Cortland County Office Building on Central Ave. in the City of Cortland when a man began to act in a disruptive manner.

The Sheriff’s Office says 24 year old Sibrunson Rosier of Marathon was acting in a disruptive manner while inside the County Office Building. Officers asked Rosier to leave the building, but Rosier refused to do so.

Rosier was then arrested for Trespassing, a Violation. He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and was then released with an appearance ticket. Rosier is due in Cortland City Court next month.
