The Marathon Fire Department responded to a call this morning around 11:30 of a reported structure fire at Reilly’s Café in the Village of Marathon. Upon arrival fire fighters reported smoke conditions and an active fire in the rear of the building.
Firefighters made quick work and the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes from the call. Assisting was the Cortlandville Fire Department, Killawog Fire Department, Marathon Ambulance and the Cortland County Sheriff.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is being investigated. No injuries were reported.
