Around 5:20 in the morning on Thursday May 12th Cortland County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 222 and Route 281 in the town of Cortlandville.
Officers found the operator of the vehicle 20 year old Andrew Hulslander was operating with a suspended license. Officer’s also found the passenger of the vehicle 29 year old Corey Papusha to have an outstanding bench warrant from the Town of Homer Court.
Papusha was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance as well.
Hulslander was issued a Uniform Traffic ticket and released at the scene while Papusha was arrested and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where he was processed on his new charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and turned over to the Homer Police Department for his outstanding warrant. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Cortlandville Court on June 6th.
