Man Wanted by State Police Found – In Possession of Synthetic Drug

A wanted man by the New York State Police, has been arrested. On Monday, January 15th around 9:15 at night, a traffic stop was conducted on Pendleton Street in the City of Cortland by an officer from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.


During the investigation, officers learned that the passenger of the vehicle, identified as 23 year old Damion J. Gublo of Dryden, had a warrant out for his arrest by the State Police. As he was being taken into custody by officers, they found in his possession a synthetic drug.

Gublo was charged by the Sheriff’s Office with Unlawful Sale, Possession, and/or Use of Dangerous Substances or Synthetic Drugs, a Misdemeanor. He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office for processing before he was then turned over to the State Police.
