Yesterday, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a man wanted since last week by city police on a multitude of charges.
Twenty-five year-old Alexander Hale, of Winter Street in the city, was found at a town of Harford residence and taken into custody on November 14 after a brief struggle.
Authorities say he resisted arrest by striking several officers. That led to several new charges on top of those from the city.
Hale was booked at the county jail then released back to CPD on his initial arrest warrants.
He is due back in court on December 2.
