Last Friday, (June 3) Cortland City Police were called to 5 Garfield Street for a reported domestic argument.
During the argument, 34 year old Eric F. Coville, shoved a female victim to the ground and then held her down against her will and refused to let her up or leave.
Officers attempted to arrest Coville; he struggled and fought with officers before he could be placed under arrest.
Coville was brought to the City of Cortland Police Department and was processed and released.
He was charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest (both misdemeanors), and harassment (violation).
