Police have identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash this weekend in the town of Solon as 30-year-old Cameron J. Rodriguez.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Telephone Road just before 1:00 Saturday morning (June 5).
However, at this time it’s believed the accident happened sometime Friday evening. The exact cause remains under investigation.
Authorities say Rodriguez was traveling East when he lost control of his motorcycle, leaving the roadway and striking an earth embankment.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Rodriguez was the only occupant on the bike and no other vehicles were involved.
TLC Ambulance Service, Morey’s Towing, Cortlandville Fire Department and the Cortland County Coroner’s Office also helped CCSO at the scene.
