Man Bit By Stray Dog In Ithaca; Police Now On The Lookout

Local News

Ithaca Police say a man was bit by a stray dog yesterday (November 11) morning while walking on Sears Street in Ithaca.

The victim said the dog was white in color and was medium-sized, and was accompanied by another dog that was brown in color and had a docked tail–both of which ran off after the incident.

Police searched the area but did not find either animal.

The Tompkins County Health Department asks that anyone who locates the dogs or otherwise has information regarding their whereabouts to call them immediately at 607-274-6688.
