Back in October of 2022, the City of Cortland Police Department began an investigation on a person possessing child pornography after a complaint came into the department.
The suspect, identified as 59 year old Andrew M. Swarm of Cortland, had his computer seized and an examination was done on the computer. During the search, child pornography containing videos and photos were located on the computer.
Officers arrested and charged Swarm with Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a Felony. He was later released on an appearance ticket to appear in Cortland City Court at a later date.
