Around 3:10 in the afternoon on Tuesday, August 29th, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Stevens Manor at 3700 Homestead Ave. in Cortlandville for a reported violation of an Order of Protection.
After an investigation conducted by officers, it was determined 27 year old Ereik R. Alexander of Cortlandville, was in the presence of a subject who was a protected party of an active Order of protection.
Alexander was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd, a Misdemeanor. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and arraigned and later released on his own recognizance.
He is due to appear in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
