Beginning today and going through Thursday, September 7th, construction crews will begin to install the main storm sewer connection basins at the intersection of Main Street and Court Street in Downtown Cortland.
Work on the project is expected to be significant with a substantial excavation at the intersection. With this, Main Street will be closed at Court Street. The street closure will continue overnight.
Main Street will then be closed between Central Ave for traffic. Detour signs will be in place. Court Street will also be closed to thru traffic and West Court closed with traffic diverted to Haskell Place and Monroe Heights.
