Madison Cortland ARC Receives Grants From NYSARC Trust Services

The Arc Madison Cortland on Friday, June 3 announced they have been awarded a grant of $26,500 from the Trustee Management Board of NYSARC Trust Services to support their guardianship program and $26,615 in grants for its recreation programs.


The total of both grants is in excess of $50,000. Arc Madison Cortland is a not-for-profit organization that supports people with disabilities in Madison and Cortland County.

The Arc Madison Cortland stated, “a chapter of The Arc New York, is a family-led organization that advocates and provides support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement. For over 50 years, The Arc has advocated for people with developmental disabilities and provided a wide range of programs and services: self-direction brokerage, residential, respite, family support, employment programs, day habilitation programs, guardianship, clinical services, and transportation. The Arc Madison Cortland continues to promote choice, self-advocacy, and person-centered outcomes and has earned national CQL Accreditation with Person-Centered Excellence.”
