Credit: Doltyn SneddenLynyrd Skynyrd will ring in the New Year in Dallas when they headline a special concert at American Airlines Center as part of a week-long celebration held in conjunction with the 2020 NHL Winter Classic hockey game.

The December 31 show is being billed as the Southern rock legends’ final Dallas stop on their Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour. Joining Skynyrd at the show will be The Allman Betts Band — the new group led by Devon Allman and Duane Betts, whose respective dads are The Allman Brothers Band‘s Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts — and veteran Western swing act Asleep at the Wheel.

Tickets for the concert go on sale to the general public this Monday, October 28, at 10 a.m. CT at Ticketmaster.com, while pre-sale tickets can be purchased now. Special VIP packages that include premier seats and themed merchandise also will be available.

The NHL Winter Classic game will take place on New Year’s Day at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, and will feature the Dallas Stars facing off against the Nashville Predators.

The New Year’s Eve show is one of only two concerts Lynyrd Skynyrd has left on its 2019 tour schedule, the other being a November 30 performance at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida.
