Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton Officially Joins The Guthrie Clinic

Late last week, officials from Lourdes and The Guthrie Clinic officially celebrated the start of a new era for healthcare coverage in the Binghamton area as Lourdes Hospital officially joined The Guthrie Clinic.

The announcement comes after months of work and planning by both Guthrie and Lourdes. Beginning now, all Lourdes services, facilities, providers, and caregivers are now part of the Guthrie Clinic. Guthrie says with this addition, Guthrie has nearly 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers that serve 29 communities in both Pennsylvania and New York State.

“Lourdes has a rich history and an enduring legacy in the Southern Tier. It has been a place of hope, healing, and compassion for nearly a century – and today we remain committed to preserving and continuing this legacy,” said Dr. Edmund Sabanegh, President and CEO, The Guthrie Clinic.

Guthrie says Lourdes patients will remain being cared for by the team they’ve learned to trust.
