A man from Locke led a high speed motorcycle chase early Tuesday morning (July 13), just past 12:30 am.
City police attempted to pull over 26-year-old Tyler Hulslander, but instead he fled and continued onto Interstate 81 where officers ended their pursuit.
Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies continued with the pursuit to Marathon, then back towards Blodgett Mills, Virgil, and Cortlandville.
Hulslander eventually ran out of gas on Gracie Road and was taken into custody.
It’s the second time this year he has run from police in a motor vehicle.
After being issued a total of 16 tickets, Hulslander was released to reappear in Cortland City Court on August 2.
He will also be seen in Cortlandville, Marathon and Virgil Town Courts on separate dates as well.
