Back on April 5th of this year, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into a larceny from a vehicle which was parked in the Walmart parking lot in Cortlandville.
The investigation found 22 year old Destiny S. Winters of Greene, NY, had conspired with two other offenders and stole personal property from the vehicle while it was parked. The Sheriff’s Office has been granted arrest warrants for the other two suspects, both who were not yet identified.
Yesterday, officers arrested Winters who faces charges of Grand Larceny in the 3rd, 7 counts of Grand Larceny in the 4th, all Felonies, and Conspiracy in the 5th, a Misdemeanor.
Winters was arraigned on all 9 charges and was released on her own recognizance due to bail reform. She is due to appear in Cortlandville Town County next week.
