The Syracuse Orange Men’s Basketball team will play Houston tomorrow at 9:55 PM in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The winner of this game will play the winner of the Oregon State vs Loyola-Chicago game.

The SUNY Cortland Baseball team swept both games of a doubleheader against Clarkson 8-1 and 6-1.

In the first game, Ben Rhodes went 3-5 with 3 singles and drove in 2 runs. Daniel Coleman went 2-3 , with 2 singles, walked twice, and drove in 2 runs.

In the second game, Colin BeVard had a tremendous game, going 3-3 with 2 doubles, a home run, and 4 RBIs. Brandon Buchan, Liam Krasney, and Brad Battaglini combined for 7 innings of 1 run ball with Buchan taking home the win.

The Red Dragons’ next 2 games will be Sunday, March 27th, against Cobleskill with the first game starting at 12 PM.

The SUNY Cortland Softball team won both games of a doubleheader against Cobleskill 15-2 and 2-0.

The first game showed a lot of offense out of Cortland. Cailey Cuttita went 2-4 with a home run, a single, and 4 RBIs. Isabel Milazzo gave up 2 runs in the first inning but pitched 4 shutout innings after that and helped to stifle Cobleskill’s offense.

After the offensive barrage, the second game took a different route. Courtney Kane pitched 7 shutout innings to fuel a victory. Lexi Szesnat drove in both runs for Cortland on 2 RBI singles and had a double as well.

Their next 2 games will be tomorrow, March 27th against St John Fisher with the first game starting at noon.

The SUNY Cortland Men’s Lacrosse team will play Brockport today at 4 PM.

The Syracuse Crunch are looking for their 4th straight win tonight against the Rochester Americans. The Crunch will go on the road to Rochester with the puck dropping at 7:05 PM.

The Binghamton Devils will take on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tonight at 7PM from the RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House.
