Local school districts adjust schedules to COVID-19

Local school districts continue adapting to changes forced on by positive COVID-19 cases and mandatory quarantines among students and staff.

In Homer, Grades 3-5 will learn at home all week (today through Friday).

Pre-K through Grade 2 and Grades 6-12 will move forward with their regular schedule.

All BOCES classes will also be in regular attendance for the week, including for Intermediate students.

Barry Primary school in Cortland is also remote this week.

Most students will return to in-person learning a week from today (Monday, December 14), except for one full class that is under quarantine.

McGraw students in 6-12 grade return to school this week, after spending Thursday and Friday of last week online due to the amount of staff on quarantine.

Students at Dryden Central Schools were also remote Thursday and Friday, returning back to normal this week.

Marathon and Cincinnatus remain on their regular schedules after both confirmed a small amount of cases in recent weeks.
