Local Officer Gets TV Debut With the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics

Yesterday morning on Good Morning America on ABC, City of Cortland Police Officer Joe Peters joined the show. Completing the last leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics in Times Square.




Officer Peters held the torch high as the crowd cheered him on.

The Law Enforcement torch run brings nearly 6,000 police and peace officers throughout the state in a 56-leg relay that carries the flame of hope across the state.
