She’ll then be in Cortlandville on Thursday of next week (March 5) from 7-9 pm at the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building on Terrace Road.

Lifton says all members of the constituency are invited to attend either meeting and ask questions about the state budget, along with any other issues of concern to them.

Meanwhile, in the race to replace Lifton after her impending retirement, Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick put his stock in the game yesterday by endorsing city councilman Seth Merdagh.

He’s one of seven candidates vying for that position, including two from Cortland County and five from Tompkins County.
