Yesterday (August 9) Governor Kathy Hochul signed legislation that aims to promote the New York State Job Bank, a free online resource available to both businesses and job seekers to post and apply for jobs. As part of the legislation, the New York Dept. of Labor will conduct an awareness campaign that includes among others, internet, radio, and billboards.

“New Yorkers have a world-class tool at their fingertips to connect talented job seekers to meaningful employment, and thanks to the bill sponsors, this legislation will help us spread the word,” said Hochul.

Over 250,000 jobs are already available to browse and apply for. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to join this free online service to list their available positions. Click here to view the New York State Job Bank.
